- Serve as the primary contact for all IT infrastructure matters for the customer overseas.
- Assess and evaluate the customer's IT infrastructure, including Nutanix servers, VMware hypervisors, and Windows servers in the Singapore Data Centre.
- Provide expert recommendations for IT infrastructure improvements and collaborate with the IT team in Singapore for seamless project implementation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues promptly, minimising downtime and disruptions, while monitoring performance and suggesting optimisation.
- Conduct regular reviews, prepare performance reports, and maintain up-to-date documentation of IT infrastructure and processes.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in IT infrastructure technologies, and perform any additional duties as assigned by Management.
The Successful Applicant
Job requirements:
- Min. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with a Min. 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in Azure cloud, IT infrastructure management, focusing on Nutanix servers and VMware hypervisors, and strong knowledge of Windows server administration.
- Solid understanding of data centre operations and infrastructure best practices, along with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to travel overseas for work related projects.
