Responsibilities:
- Handling trade lifecycle events, including but not limited to confirmations, settlements, corporate actions, maturities, expiries, and fixings of portfolio positions.
- Performing reconciliations of trades and positions between internal systems, broker statements, and the fund administrator system.
- Generating reports for internal stakeholders such as the Front Office and Management.
- Providing timely responses and resolutions to queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Working on new initiatives (given it’s a new function) including ad hoc projects, including but not limited to, process automation/integration, and new workflows.
Experience, Requirements & Skills:
- Education: Business or Finance degree preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Equities, FX, Fixed Income, and OTC derivatives financial products.
- Experience: 4-7 years of direct operations experience in end-to-end trade lifecycle management within the financial services industry, preferably in a large bank or hedge fund.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel VBA and Python.
- Attributes: Meticulous and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability: Able to work under tight timelines and pressure in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to reprioritize assignments on short notice.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Able to provide backup leave coverage for New York and Late London shifts rotationally.
