Food & Beverage - Data Analyst

Job Summary:

The Food and Beverage Division Data Analyst/Trainer at Ritz-Carlton Millenia will be responsible for analyzing data to drive strategic decision-making within the Food and Beverage (F&B) department. This role also involves training team members on data-driven insights and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and service quality. Additionally, the role will coordinate the preparation of training materials in collaboration with various managers and ensure proper tracking and compliance with targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis:

  1. Collect, process, and analyze data related to sales, customer feedback, inventory, and other F&B operations.
  2. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics.
  3. Identify trends, patterns, and insights from data to support decision-making and improve operational performance.
  4. Collaborate with F&B management to set targets, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels.
  5. Conduct regular audits of data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  6. Produce competitor’s surveys to benchmark performance and identify areas for improvement.

Training:

  1. Develop training materials and programs to educate F&B staff on data literacy and the importance of data-driven decision-making.
  2. Provide ongoing support and coaching to F&B staff to ensure they can effectively utilize data in their roles.
  3. Coordinate the preparation of materials for specific job training classes in collaboration with managers such as chefs, mixologists, restaurant reservation staff, sommeliers, and those involved with Micros usage.
  4. Conduct training refresh sessions for all F&B employees to ensure continuous development and adherence to best practices.

Coordination and Compliance:

  1. Work with various F&B managers to design and deliver job-specific training programs.
  2. Ensure proper tracking and compliance with training targets and objectives.
  3. Regularly review and update training materials to reflect the latest industry standards and best practices.

Collaboration and Communication:

  1. Work closely with the IT department to ensure data systems and tools meet the needs of the F&B division.
  2. Communicate complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
  3. Support the F&B management team with data-driven recommendations to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.
  4. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to analyze the impact of promotional activities and campaigns.

Working Conditions:

  1. Office-based with occasional visits & Support the F&B outlets.
  2. May require evening and weekend work depending on operational needs.
