Chief Operating Officer

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and supervise the annual budget, long-term planning, and performance management objectives for the operational region, driving the achievement of strategic business goals and continuously enhancing revenue growth for the brand.
  2. Organize and oversee the collection of customer and operational requirements in the operational region, coordinate relationships between departments and allocate resources efficiently to enhance brand reputation continually.
  3. Improve operational team building within the organization, establish an effective team assistance mechanism, and facilitate, promote, and supervise the development and management of subordinate operational teams.
  4. To increase company profitability and create new profit growth opportunities, standardize and optimize the operating costs of various operational units, enhance brand profit growth, and supervise and approve the proper preparation and opening of new stores, as well as store location selection.
  5. To continually enhance brand value, conduct data-driven reviews of brand potential, define brand positioning and value propositions, and formulate annual brand marketing strategies.
  6. To improve customer satisfaction and achieve company operational targets, develop product development strategies in conjunction with the market competitive environment. This includes menu structure, pricing, product line layout, and coordination of resources to optimize product structure. Provide a basis for decisions regarding product launch and discontinuation.
  7. To ensure the achievement of company strategic and personnel development plans, establish a forward-looking, innovative, and people-centric comprehensive training system using professional methodologies. Coordinate and formulate training plans for personnel at all levels and follow up on their implementation.
  8. To ensure the effective implementation of training for operational personnel, establish post-implementation work inspections based on training standards to guarantee training effectiveness and compliance with company process requirements, thereby ensuring results.
  9. Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement.
  10. Implement business strategies and plans that align with the short- and long-term objectives developed in tandem with CEO.
  11. Oversee operations, HR, and accounting, and partner with CEO in sales management so that sufficient investment capital can be budgeted for near-term growth targets.
  12. Manage capital investments and expenses aggressively to ensure that the company achieves investor targets for growth and profitability.
  13. Monitor performance with tracking software and take corrective measures when necessary, and prepare detailed updates and forecasts.
  14. Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience managing a complex enterprise's human resources, finances, operations, or strategies.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets in a similar role.
  • Proficient operational and financial acumen.
  • Strong ethical leadership abilities.
  • Excellent Mandarin and English communication skills required for interactions with Mandarin-speaking staff and vendors.
  • Food entrepreneurial mindset with strong decision-making skills.
  • Strong business acumen and a results-driven professional in.
  • Accomplishing organizational objectives and goals.
  • Resourceful, consultative and engaging in evaluation of business.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Fundraising experience.
  • International business experience.
