Reporting to General Manager, Corporate Management, this position will manage supply chain activities under fast-paced conditions relating to demand fluctuation, production plant troubles and restriction of raw materials. The person is expected to collaborate with Sales & Marketing, Production, Quality Control and Logistics departments.
Responsibilities
- Create optimal Demand & Supply budget as well as monthly production plan to ensure sufficient inventory to meet on-time production and delivery
- Engage in discussions with Sales & Marketing, Production and Logistics departments to review and revise Demand & Supply plan when required
- Create plans for packing, external warehousing and stock point transfers, preloading and repacking and ensure the plans are carried out together with Logistics team and its service provider
- Handle and plan inventory targets to meet sales plan requirements and make necessary adjustments according to customers’ demands and market trends
- Manage inventory for efficient shipment operations through regular meetings to report Demand & Supply status updates to Sales & Marketing and Logistics teams
- Collaborate with Quality Control team to minimize inspection team for timely shipment
- Maintain reliable SAP inventory data to ensure smooth shipment arrangement and accurate assets reporting to Finance team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field with 5 or more years of relevant experience
- Candidate with experience in SAP preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Possess effective communication and presentation skills
- Highly self-motivated, independent and resourceful
