M&E QS Manager

Recognized Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

10 years of relevant experiences in Mechanical and Electrical/General Construction/Civil Construction experiences

· Manages and prepares all the cost estimates for tender projects

· Involves in value engineering and determining the price of the service

Project (Supporting Role)

· Provide support in projects to check and ensure timely upstream claims to clients are maximize to the company interest including variation order

· Report any major contractual status, arise after discussion with project sites

· Update any changes in project budget

· Ensure accurate and timely payment response are certified to the subcontractor’s monthly claim

Requirements:

· Recognized Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent

· 10 years of relevant experiences in Mechanical and Electrical/General Construction/Civil Construction experiences or its related field

· Involve from pre-contract stage to post-contract stage

· Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite

· Able to analyze financial records and apply data to improved results

· Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports

M&E QS Officer

Diploma/Advanced/higher/Graduate Diploma in Quantity Survey or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Quick learner and willing to explore new skill sets/technologies


· Keep track of all tender documents, drawings, and revised documents based on the document control process

· Verify the tender drawing/detail and prepare the tender enquiry

· Assist manager to call for quotations, selection of qualified subcontractors/vendors and distribute the relevant tender documents

· Perform quantity take-off for tender projects based on the set timeline

· Assist with tender evaluation and prepare tender documents for submission

· Ensure all supporting documents are properly recorded, filed, and compiled for verification purposes

· Able to read M&E drawings

Requirements:

· Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/higher/Graduate Diploma in Quantity Survey or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent

· Certain knowledge & experience in M&E system requirements

· Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

· Able to work independently with minimum supervision

· Good knowledge and skill set in Microsoft Office

· Quick learner and willing to explore new skill sets/technologies

QS/Contracts Manager (Marine Civil Works)

Recognized Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering

10 years of relevant experience in marine and/or coastal projects

Involved from pre-contract to post-contract stage


The primary focus of this role is to manage and prepare cost estimates for marine/coastal tender projects. This position involves value engineering and determining service pricing. Additionally, it provides project support to ensure timely and advantageous client claims, monitors contractual status, updates project budgets, and ensures accurate and timely payment responses to subcontractor claims.

Job Description:
Tender:

· Manage and prepare cost estimates for marine-related tender projects, including value engineering and determining service pricing.

· Analyze upstream contract terms for risks and opportunities, compute quotations, and support complex contract negotiations.

Commercial & Contracts:

· Prepare claims and advise on contract disputes, extensions, and equitable adjustments.

· Provide reporting on defense against claims, disputes, conflicts, and contractual non-compliance issues.

Others:

· Ensure timely and advantageous client claims, report major contractual status changes, update project budgets, and verify accurate and timely payment responses to subcontractor claims.

Requirements:

· Recognized Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or equivalent.

· 10 years of relevant experience in marine and/or coastal projects or related field, involved from pre-contract to post-contract stage.
