As part of digitization , they are looking for a Digital Archivist to be part of their inclusive and diverse team based in Singapore where you would have the opportunity to pioneer and play a critical role in preserving the organization's history for future generations to come.
This is an exciting opportunity where it combines the traditional role of an Archivist and embracing the latest modern technologies such as AI/ Blockchain to enhance its effectiveness
Main responsibilities
A)
Cataloguing & Indexing:
- Involve in cataloging, classify, and index digital assets to ensure optimal accessibility
- and usability.
- Employ advanced search functionalities and AI technologies to synthesize and connect diverse information assets.
- Efficiently prepare, preserve and store physical artifacts following digitization.
- Understanding of metadata standards and digital cataloging practices.
B)
Digitization/System Design & Implementation( with the use of vendor assistance)
- Design and implement systems for the effective acquisition, organization, and
- preservation of digital assets.
- Take responsibility for the digitization of physical assets, including both in-house and
- outsourced processes.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of digitized content.
Skills and experience required
- Knowledge of digital content management systems, metadata standards, and database management.
- Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in digital archiving and management.
