Job Description:
Group Technology and Operations (GTO) in Singapore is looking for an experienced Murex techno-functional delivery analyst/developer to join its core Treasury IT team to support the bank’s treasury division for the business with Commodities, Credit Derivative, FXD, IRD, FX, MM, Fixed Income products in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, China and its overseas branches across the globe.
A successful candidate is expected to have:
Essential Skills:
l More than 6 years of MUREX front office experience.
l Good and thorough understanding of bank’s front office and back office operations, risk, finance and accounting.
l In-depth knowledge on treasure products in terms product characteristics, trade life cycle, market operations, risk management, P&L calculation.
l Experienced in pre-trade rules, calculation template, pricing template, UDF, Lookup table development
l Excellent stakeholder engagement and effective communication with stakeholders
l Good experience of implementing enhancement involving mix of waterfall and agile approaches
l Ability to perform complex business analysis and requirement gathering and system impact analysis independently
l Excellent skills in functional specification documentation, design test cases
l Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Preferred skills:
l Experience in Unix, preferably Linux (Redhat) and Solaris to the level of checking processes, writing shell scripts and checking log files.
l Strong in Oracle 10g/11G, SQL, PL-SQL
l Good knowledge in other murex functions including FO Pre-trade, accounting, datamart, Risk, VaR, market data are preferred.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
l Requirement gathering and impact analysis for change requests, projects and new product development
l Development and support for change requests, projects and new product development
l Adherence to project processes
l Manage and support SIT and UAT phases
l Plan deliverables (including any system enhancements and upgrades) to meet change requests, projects and new product development requirements within allocated budget and schedule.
l Coordinate across cross-streams to manage dependencies of the delivery
l Act as FO expert and provide support to other team members for handling downstreams / Risk / BO user queries or system issues
l Plan, monitor and manage risks/issues related to delivery
l Assisting with production implementation
l Providing post-delivery support
