Our client is a well-regarded player in the technology services space, with their Singapore office centrally located. There is now a need for them to hire an APAC FP&A Analyst for maternity cover.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the consolidation and analysis of financial and business KPIs and preparation of presentation materials for discussion and reporting to APAC and Global management.
- You will also be involved in identifying opportunities for optimized business and operational performance.
- Reporting of APAC results to HQ with clear and succinct analysis to reflect the business pulse and ensuring all global reporting requirements and deadlines are met.
- Regional FP&A lead of the reporting system for APAC by working closely with various geographics and HQ and be the regional system lead.
- Lead the regional monthly forecasting process and annual AOP budgeting process with the APAC geographics and HQ.
- Responsible for post-implementation review of new launch projects.
- Develop a suite of reports and analysis to know the pulse of the key business drivers during the month (other than month end) and to identify key trends and anomalies of various geographics.
- Representative of FP&A to work with various project and IT teams for launch and maintenance of functional summary reports and management reports.
- Other/Ad hoc projects - Help drive improvement of reporting insights to enable APAC FP&A to support business outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
- 5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or a related role.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial software (e.g., SAP,Oracle,Hyperion).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
