Responsibilities:
Accounts, full time perm, 3k to 3.5k
- Calculate development costs and manage grant reimbursements
- Verify transactions and prepare journal vouchers for month-end closing.
- Ensure accurate prepayments and manage financial reports.
- Assist with quarterly GST returns for IRAS.
- Handle month-end/yearly closing and prepare budget reports.
- Coordinate fixed asset audits and perform account reconciliations.
- Prepare Fruit Machine Statements and compute lottery tax for IRAS.
- Provide AP verification and posting support as needed.
Accounts Assistant, full time perm, 2.3k to 2.8k
- Input member payments and verify cheque details.
- Process GIRO and credit card applications, resolving any issues.
- Reconcile sales receipts from outlets.
- Generate monthly subscription and admin fees.
- Handle member inquiries and update accounts.
- Submit Termination and Reinstatement Reports.
- Print and send member statements.
- Generate lists for refunds and reconcile accounts.
- Participate in fixed asset audits and cash counts.
- Perform accounts reconciliation and manage receipt books.
- Take on ad-hoc projects and cover for absent colleagues.
Temp Accounts Assistant, 6 months (Aug 2024 to Jan 2025), 2.5k to 3k
- Reconcile collections and prepare journal vouchers.
- Update and reconcile Amex, Visa, and Nets schedules.
- Verify credit card refunds and bank statements.
- Prepare cash flow projections.
- Reconcile and post daily facility and weekly event transactions.
- Reconcile daily bowling collections.
- Prepare weekly cash flow projections.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Handle credit payments and prepare reconciliation reports.
- Verify credit card refunds and prepare month-end journal vouchers.
- Participate in fixed asset audits and account reconciliations.
- Cover for AP and take on ad-hoc projects.
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma/ Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ ACCA or any equivalent with 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting related functions or of similar nature
- Ethical, meticulous, possess an eye for detail, a good analytical mind, and good interpersonal skills.
- East area, 5 days, 8am to 515pm / 830 am to 545 pm, transport pickup from Tanah Merah MRT station.
