Tanoke is an exclusive modern Japanese and sake restaurant in downtown Purvis Street (near Bugis & City Hall MRT). We seek a talented and passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities
- To ensure the smooth day-to-day operation
- To ensure the outlet is profitable, with controlled operating expenses and to initiate improvements to achieve the monthly targets
- To submit monthly performance reports to the management, highlighting current business trends and other general information from the outlet
- To ensure team members and new hires are trained according to the standard operating procedures
- To conduct regular briefings and ensure team members are well-informed of the latest promotions, marketing campaigns and guest feedback
- Coordinate all events and reservations to ensure optimum capacity
- To maximise customer satisfaction and to meet targeted online reviews
- To ensure a high level of cleanliness, maintenance and proper care of assets of the outlet
- To perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management
Requirements
- Candidate must have at least 3 years of management experience in a semi-fine dining concept
- Strong planning and people management skills to lead a dynamic team
- Able to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in English (and Japanese will be an advantage)
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Familiarity with back-end software management (POS, TMS, delivery platforms)
- Proactive, responsible, positive and a good role model
- Highly motivated, excellent customer service able to work independently and a good team player at the same time
- Able to commit shift work, weekends and public holidays
