The candidate will carry out research in one of the following areas under the “Carbon Negative Synthetic Biology for Biomaterial Production from CO2” CNSB-CREATE programme at the SJTU Asia-Pacific Graduate Institute (SJTU-APGI).
(A) Artificial Enhancement of Photosynthesis
(B) Biofoundry Enabling
(C) Bioreactor Development
(D) Product development
Your duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Monitor and conduct research and operation for the project
· Supervise PhD students and research staff under the project
· Assist PI in preparing reports and financial reporting data
· Meet regularly with PIs, co-PI/co-Is, researchers and students to update the progress and operational affairs
· Any other duties related to the day-to-day operation and management of the project
Job Requirements
1. PhD degree from a recognized university
2. Research experience in the related field with good publication records
3. Experience in mentoring Master and PhD students
