Responsible to the Operation Manager, your duties will include but not necessarily be limited to:
Air Export:
· Provide support to arrange freight services for customers, aligned with customer’s freight management needs in line with (CS)SOP.
· Ensure GW policy, customs procedures are being complied.
· Ensure booking accepted by airline based on committed transit time with workable sell rate.
· Ensure client’s requirements are communicated with operations team promptly.
· Effectively communicate with overseas offices/agents/Carriers to meet customer expectation.
· Ensure timely update and communication on shipment status to customer.
· Proactively following up on the uplifting of shipments and service recovery in the event of offloading or delay.
· Provide excellent accessibility and resolutions to customers to maximize business revenue and opportunity.
· Ensure correct buy cost and sold rate are communicated with operations team.
· Identify and act on selling opportunities to new / existing customers to retain revenue.
· Billing on time for ex work shipment and customer invoicing.
Identify potential process gap and areas for improvement.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATIONAL AND / OR TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATES
· GCE O’Level or equivalent certification in logistic related field preferred
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
· At least 3 years experiences in air import & export operations in the airfreight industry.
· Good air cargo knowledge
NECESSARY TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
· Competent in computer skills and common applications (Office, Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
· Strong in interpersonal communication
· Team management – ability to lead, guide, support and develop the team members
