We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Delivery Specialist for a delivery role in our team. You will be responsible for executing daily cloud operations as well as cloud implementations in technical customer engagements. This includes basic operations and administration, specific implementation projects, and/or pilots in Cloud environments.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivery roles, successful implementation discussions, hands-on experience, and strong handling skills. You should be a team player capable of providing solutions and technical expertise to both fellow team members and accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Apply technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and insights to operate and administer cloud infrastructures.
- Ensure all configurations conform to high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment, aligning with design documentation specifications.
- Codify or implement/deploy configurations with principles of automation by default in new projects, ensuring proper documentation.
- Maintain cloud systems in an automated fashion using tools like Ansible, CloudFormation, and Terraform with proper documentation.
- Participate in Cloud Migrations for VMs using tools like CloudEndure and Azure Migrate, with more than 20 VMs or databases preferred.
- Collaborate with team members to engage in operational meetings, discussions, process improvement, and contribute to optimizations for the environment.
- Maintain technical skills, certifications, and knowledge of market trends and competitive insights; share and collaborate within the technical community, specifically in the cloud space.
- Resolve issues with proper resolution/documentation technically and adhere to SLAs.
Requirements:
- Professional Experience: 3+ years of success in operational/administration and deployment/migration projects in a Cloud environment.
- Problem Solving: Ability to solve problems through cloud technologies.
- Collaboration and Communication: Proven ability to provide solutions to issues collaboratively, resolve conflicts, and ensure follow-through with proper follow-up and closure.
Technical Qualifications:
- ITIL V4 Foundation Certified.
- Strong technical experience with cloud infrastructures, migrations, and technology management preferred.
- AWS System Administrator and/or Cloud Engineer Certification is required.
- AWS Solution Architect Associate Certification is advantageous.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification and/or Azure Certified Administrator or Fundamentals is required.
- Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following:Knowledge of containerization technologies such as EKS, AKS, GKE, K8s, OpenShift, and Tanzu would be advantageous.
