We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager - Operations to join our team and help drive our business to new heights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Execution: Work closely with the founders in executing the overall strategy of the company to ensure alignment and successful implementation.
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day business operations to ensure smooth functioning, including the delivery of various projects by the Centres of Excellence (COEs).
- Team Leadership: Manage the COE leads, driving teams to deliver on projects efficiently and effectively.
- Process Enhancement: Develop and enhance operational processes to achieve higher operational efficiency and replicate successful models across the region.
- Business Consulting: Provide consulting on business plans, execute established business models, and scale operations efficiently.
- Sales Collaboration: Work with the Sales team to develop partnerships and sales strategies, identifying opportunities for top-line growth and new market expansion.
- Project Collaboration: Collaborate closely with external teams and partners to ensure project performance meets timeline, budget, P&L, and customer satisfaction targets.
- Financial Analysis: Highlight potential breakthroughs in cost improvement or revenue growth during the planning process.
- Market Analysis: Analyse market, competitor, and customer data to support the strategic management process.
- Internal Controls: Implement, review, and improve internal controls and processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Regulatory Compliance: Engage with regulators to review, clarify, and implement processes and systems that comply with regulatory requirements, including standards compliance.
- Networking: Attend or host conference events to represent the company and build industry relationships.
Qualifications:
- Must have extensive experience in cybersecurity.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing a professional services/consultancy business or an equivalent startup, with a background in operations, strategies, and finance.
- Proven experience in a relevant role, with a strong track record of managing complex budgets successfully.
- Experience in business development is a plus.
- Demonstrates a good attitude, values hard work, and is immensely results-driven.
- Exhibits clarity of ideas/proposals, and is data-driven and analytical.
- Deep understanding of business strategy and attention to detail.
- Awareness of cybersecurity markets, competition, and business models.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with experience working with staff at all levels.
- Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or professional certifications.
