Job Description:
Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Events Lead to oversee operations and logistics for various thematic events. The successful candidate will ensure seamless execution, from initial planning to post-event evaluation, maintaining the highest standards throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Analysis:
- Understand and analyze requirements for each thematic event, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
- Event Operations and Logistics Management:
- Oversee all aspects of event operations, including planning, coordination, and execution of logistics.
- Conduct final checks and inspections before event day to ensure compliance with established standards and protocols.
- On-Site Event Management:
- Supervise and manage event activities on the day, acting swiftly to resolve any issues or disruptions.
- Coordinate with vendors, site managers, and staff to facilitate smooth set-up and tear-down processes.
- Task Oversight:
- Oversee specific tasks and responsibilities throughout the event planning process to ensure timely and efficient completion.
- Vendor and Venue Coordination:
- Liaise with vendors at the venue location to support set-up and tear-down activities.
- Work closely with site managers to ensure successful event execution.
- Post-Event Evaluation:
- Evaluate the success of events by gathering feedback and analyzing performance metrics.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive post-event reports to stakeholders.
- Administrative Duties:
- Respond to phone inquiries and handle other ad hoc duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event planning and operations management.
- Diploma in Sport Science/Events Management
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle unexpected situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Requirements:
• Diploma/Degree in any discipline from a recognized institution are welcome
• To possess at least two to three years of relevant working experience
• Good negotiation and interpersonal skills
