Description:
Scrum Framework Implementation:
1. Coaches and mentors the Scrum team in Agile principles, values, and practices.
2. Facilitates Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective).
3. Ensures the Scrum team adheres to Scrum guidelines and processes.
4. Removes impediments that hinder the team's progress.
SAFe and PI Planning:
5. Leads and facilitates Program Increment (PI) Planning events, aligning teams towards common goals.
6. Coordinates with Release Train Engineers (RTEs) and Product Owners to ensure alignment with Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
7. Actively participates in SAFe Implementation Roadmap (SIR) and other large-scale Agile initiatives.
8. Supports the team in understanding and applying SAFe principles and practices.
Team Dynamics and Collaboration:
9. Builds and fosters a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
10. Facilitates effective communication and conflict resolution within the team.
11. Protects the team from external disruptions and distractions.
12. Promotes continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Stakeholder Management:
13. Acts as a liaison between the Scrum team and stakeholders.
14. Manages stakeholder expectations and communicates project progress effectively.
15. Builds strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure their support and engagement.
Qualifications/Skillset requirements
1. 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
2. Proven experience in implementing Scrum and SAFe methodologies.
3. Strong understanding of Agile principles, values, and practices.
4. Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
5. Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
7. Experience with Agile project management tools (Jira, Trello, etc.) preferred.
8. Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) preferred.
