Our client is a leader in the energy industry. They’re now looking for a committed and reliable Operations Supervisor with Processing Plant experience to lead their team. .
about the job
- Lead a team to manage maintenance activities, including materials supply, work planning & scheduling, inspection & repair of equipment
- Liaise actively with the plant commissioning team
- Responsible for the control and management of assets in the Computerized Maintenance Management System
- Coordinate with contractors accordingly to supervise the inspection and testing of equipment on site
- Provide arrangements of site checks and measurements
- Work as a mechanical fitter/millwright to regularly inspect and repair equipment (i.e. pumps, blowers) as necessary
- Develop and train team members
- Supervise contractors on site on piping, scaffolding, insulation, lifting work etc
- Provide assistance on inventory check & preservation
job requirement
- Diploma in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/Process)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role in a Processing Plant environment (i.e. chemical/power plant/energy/refinery etc.)
- Possess hot process working knowledge
- Familiar with Compressors, boilers, exchangers, pumps, process control systems etc.
- Candidates who possess a 2nd grade Steam Boiler Engineer Certification will be highly desirable
- Flexible with working hours if needed to cover shift
- Willing to work in the West (Tuas/Joo Koon/Boon Lay) (company transport provided from Boon Lay MRT)
