Responsibilities:
- Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate and cost-effective way
- Improve operational management systems, processes, policies and best practices
- Control purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives
- Assist to ensure processes within the organisation comply with legislations
- Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
- Manage budgets and forecasts
- Perform quality controls and monitor production and KPIs of departments
- Recruit, train and supervise staff
- Explore ways to enhance quality of customer service
- Coordinate with customers on site requirements and activities.
- Maintaining a safe, secure and healthy work environment by adhering to and enforcing safety codes.
- Work with Compliance Officer and other relevant personnel to update the procedures.
- Brief the support team members on the procedures.
- Brief managers on updated procedures.
- Work with support team members to ensure records are in order.
- Ensuring smooth delivery of cargoes to customers/site within schedule.
- To schedule job, set priorities, monitor job progress & tracking schedules, communicate changes on job status.
- Application of required customs and LTA permits etc… if necessary.
- Costs projection and budget measures.
- Other admin and billing functions as required.
Requirements
- Min. Bachelor Degree
- Min 5 year related work experience in Logistics operations
- PC literate
- Well organized & able to multi-task
- Willing to work night-shift
- Willing to work in West Area (Company transport from Joo Koon/Choa Chu Kang MRT)
