We are looking for a Valuation Manager / Senior, who will be helping clients create and defend shareholder value. We deliver exceptional management insights in the areas of deal strategy, mergers & acquisitions, business valuations, transaction advisory services, forensic services and litigation support.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct detailed valuations of businesses, intangible assets, financial instruments, and other entities using various approaches
- Perform in-depth client, industry, market and competitor research
- Collaborate with audit teams to provide valuation insights and support for audit procedures.
- Assist in the evaluation of fair value measurements for financial statement disclosures.
- Address audit inquiries and provide documentation that supports valuation methodologies and assumptions.
- Communicate with clients to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service
- Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance on valuation techniques and professional development (for the manager role)
We are looking for people with the following:
- Ideally a degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Professional certification (e.g., CVA, CA, CPA, ACCA) strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience (minimum 4+ years for Manager role) in business valuation, financial analysis, or related field, ideally within a reputable valuation firm
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Excellent written/ verbal communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment with all levels of personnel
