Archi Foreman

Overview

As a Foreman, you will assist the Production Supervisor / Engineer / Manager in performing the overall operation in Prefabricated Bathroom Unit (PBU) Fitting Plant. You will ensure that the documentation system is always up to date and in line with the company's Integrated Management System (IMS) and compliance to Building Construction Authority (BCA) on Prefabricated Bathroom Units (PBU) Manufacturer Accreditation Scheme standards and guidelines, as well as customers’ requirements.

Responsibilities

1. Perform overall Archi trade installation or repair of PBU Fitting.
2. Ensure that overall Archi trade installation or repair fall within standards, measured to specifications and within tolerances & etc.
3. Perform product identification and traceability activities, as required.
4. Coordinate with other department to resolve Quality issue.
5. Lead the team in the shift in efficient operation and discipline of the production.
6. Ensure Production members perform according to IMS requirement.
7. Maintain 5 “S” in the production floor.
8. Contribute ideas which can lead to cost saving, productivity efficiency, accuracy and timeliness targets.
9. Manage, coach and train the team members include carrying out performance review and disciplinary action, if required.
10. Authorize to stop operation if conditions are out of safety measures or not able to achieve specified process / operation conditions in production.
11. Participate in the Risk Assessment (RA) discussion & review and taking part of inspection with company WSH officer on Environment, Health & Safety within company premises.
12. Flag noncompliance issues to Supervisor / Engineer / Manager.
13. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management and the designated manager

1. Minimum PSLE with at least 5 years’ experience working in PBU Fitting environment.
2. Minimum ITE with at least 2 years’ experience working in PBU Fitting environment.
3. Possess problem-solving, analysing and reporting skills.
4. Possess supervisory skills with manpower planning experiences.
5. Independent with high level of initiative and fast learner.
6. Possess good interpersonal skills and excellent team spirit.
7. Positive attitude in learning. 8) A team player with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize tasks.
8. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) will be an advantage.
9. Extremely detail-oriented, able to work in a cross-functional team environment.
10. Knowledge of ISO9001, 14001 & 45001 standards as well as Building Construction Authority Construction Quality / Assessment System will be an advantage.
