Responsibilities
1. Grant Applications
- Identify and research relevant grant opportunities.
- Prepare, write, and submit grant proposals and applications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
- Track and report on the progress and outcomes of submitted grants.
2. Relationship Building
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry associations.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and other lead generation methods.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to represent the company and expand its network.
- Conduct regular follow-ups and maintain a database of contacts and interactions.
3. Market Research and Analysis
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.
- Analyze data to inform strategic decision-making and business development initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to support business growth.
4. Strategic Planning
- Assist in the development and execution of the company’s business development strategy.
- Collaborate with senior management to set and achieve business growth targets.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business development activities and adjust strategies as needed.
5. Proposal and Presentation Preparation
- Prepare compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to the needs of potential clients and partners.
- Ensure all materials are accurate, professional, and aligned with the company’s branding and messaging.
6. Client Engagement and Relationship Management
- Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and present suitable solutions.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements with clients.
- Provide excellent post-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and long-term relationships.
7. Other ad-hoc duties
- Email Management: Efficiently manage and respond to emails on behalf of the executive team.
- Travel Arrangements: Handle all aspects of travel bookings, including flights, accommodation, and itineraries for business trips.
- Visitor Hosting: Organize and host visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
