Responsibilities
- Treasury Operations Oversight: Oversee daily treasury operations including cash management, cash pooling, forex hedging, intercompany borrowing, and reporting, providing team support as needed.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly and quarterly treasury reports and present progress to management. Estimate corporate expenses, execute FX contracts, and analyze FX and interest results.
- Forex and Hedging Management: Monitor the company's forex position, manage forex hedges with the sales department, hold monthly meetings to adjust actions based on sales forecasts, and propose hedging and funding strategies.
- Budget and Project Management: Prepare yearly budgets for interests and team expenses, apply for borrowing and forex position limits to the Japan head office, and drive treasury-specific and improvement projects.
- Treasury Support: Act as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders on treasury transactions, operational issues, and banking matters.
- Manage Banking Relationships: Maintain and manage relationships with banking partners.
- Team Development: Provide coaching and guidance to the treasury team.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of treasury experience proficient in covering foreign exchange hedging, cash management (cashflow analysis, pooling), etc.
- Experience in forecasting and optimizing cash and loans
- Previous leadership and management experience will be highly preferred to lead a team
- Fostered great banking relationships with good understanding of banking products and compliance will be ideal.
- Proficient in Ms Excel and Power BI/Reuter/Bloomberg will be advantageous
