Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems on construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop and implement M&E strategies and plans.
- Ensure all M&E works comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure M&E works are performed to the required standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of M&E services and materials.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to M&E systems, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
- Monitor and report on the progress of M&E works, providing regular updates to senior management and project stakeholders.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential M&E-related risks.
- Promote and enforce a strong culture of safety, ensuring all M&E works are performed in a safe and compliant manner.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any equivalent qualification recognized by PEB.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in managing M&E works on construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, codes, standards, and regulations.
- Proven experience in managing M&E teams and subcontractors.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for M&E management.
