This role supports the Head of Sustainable Urban Renewal Solutions in curating and aggregating a suite of commercial smart building and building sustainability solutions for Keppel REIT assets, managed by Keppel Real Estate Division. Occasional business travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities
Building Solutions
- Identify, evaluate and develop strong local relationships with network of smart building and building sustainability solutions suppliers
- Identify performance of existing assets and suggest methods of improvement in sustainability performance
- Provide commercial implications of building solutions, such as CAPEX vs. ROI
- Work closely with internal teams and suppliers/ partners to oversee and coordinate the implementation and deployment of smart building and building sustainability solutions within assets under management
- Plan and manage BCA Green Mark and LEED certification, including other local certifications for assets under management
Corporate Sustainability
- Coordinate and manage the gathering, consolidation and checking of data from regional countries for the annual Sustainability Report, and establish Sustainability-related sections and content in the company’s Sustainability Report and/or Annual Report
- Plan corporate communications with respect to sustainability
- Coordinate and advise regional markets on sustainability goals
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Real Estate required; Master’s Degree preferred
- Proficient in certifications of both local and regional green certifications, including but not limited to Green Mark, CASBEE, Three Star, NABERS, etc
- Ability to guide and administer GRI, GRESB, CRREM and other international standards is preferred
- Team player and self-starter who takes initiatives and excels within minimum supervision
- Strong knowledge on commercial building technical systems and operations, as well as asset management
- Strong stakeholder management and networking skills
- At least 6 years of working experience in real estate sustainability; prior experience with commercial property management and/or project management would be advantageous
