Seeking an Allocation Manager for a shipowner, you will be responsible to support and effectively managing the allocation of vessel capacities across our fleet to maximize operational efficiency and profitability. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring optimal utilization of vessel resources, coordinating schedules, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with regional teams to manage cargo intake for each voyage, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Develop a capacity plan based on forecasts from Commercial, Logistics, and Line Management.
- Analyze volume trends to advise on tonnage requirements for upcoming voyages.
- Manage short-term changes such as cargo transfers and port calls to minimize disruption and costs.
- Optimize cargo mix on voyages to maximize financial returns, considering long-term strategies, customer impact, and competitive responses.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Communicate and build relationships with internal stakeholders to support effective capacity management.

Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years in capacity allocation, or related roles within the shipping industry.
- Strong analytical skills enabling the interpretation of data, identification of trends, and data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
