Key Responsibilities:
- Develop systems for acquiring, organizing, and preserving digital assets using advanced digital tools.
- Efficiently catalog, classify, and index digital assets for optimal accessibility and usability.
- Oversee in-house and outsourced digitization, ensuring high-quality and integrity of digitized content.
- Collaborate with departments to integrate digital resources into the library system and optimize infrastructure.
- Conduct training sessions and develop user guides to enhance the use of digital library resources.
- Promote meticulous data preservation practices and implement robust backup and recovery solutions.
- Stay updated with new technologies like AI and blockchain to enhance digital librarianship.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of all digital assets and digitization processes.
- Provide support and assistance to users accessing digital library resources.
- Enhance digital resources through continuous evaluation and application of innovative digital tools and platforms.
Requirement:
- Degree in Library Science / Information Science
- Relevant experience in Cataloging & Indexing
