Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and creating packaging concepts that effectively communicate the brand’s message and meet the functional requirements of the product.
- Involves collaboration with marketing, product development, and production teams to ensure the packaging is practical, cost-effective, and visually appealing.
- Create original packaging designs based on marketing briefs and product specifications.
- Recommend materials and finishes that enhance the visual appeal and functionality of the packaging while considering cost and sustainability.
- Ensure that all packaging designs align with the brand's identity and guidelines.
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and production teams to understand requirements and constraints.
- Develop prototypes and conduct tests to ensure the packaging meets quality standards and performs well during handling and transportation.
- Incorporate sustainable design practices and materials into packaging solutions.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Design, Visual Communication or related disciplines.
- 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), CAD software, and 3D modeling software.
- Strong creative skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail especially for mother and baby products.
- Meticulous and detail oriented.
- Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal communication skills and be a committed team player.
- Good command in both written and spoken English.
