Our client, a Japanese IT company in Singapore, is looking for a Managing Director to join their team. The incumbent will be required to work closely with our Japanese client and their Japanese HQ. The person will be required to:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional business strategies that are aligned with the Group’s strategies
- Lead, direct and control activities in entity to achieve Group’s financial and operational objectives
- Cultivate and build long and trusting relationships with key stakeholders, business partners and authorities locally
- Oversee company’s business operations, financial performance and human resources
- Provide strategic advice and market insights to Group’s management to drive strategic and profitable growth in company
- Ensure compliance with Group’s corporate governance and local regulations
Requirements:
- At least 15 years of experience in IT industry, with at least 5 years of people management responsibilities
- Able to speak and write Native Level Japanese
- Good spoken and written English
- Bachelor's degree
- Good IT skills (Windows PC and Server and Network knowledge)
- Familiar with analysing financial results and reports
