Senior Communications Executive

One Hope Centre

Purpose of Job:

  • Develop and implement communications strategies to effectively reach target audiences
  • Manage the brand identity and messaging of OHC
  • Manage and maintaining communication channels such as website, email, and social media platforms
  • Lead, plan, manage manpower and budget, and execute plans for organisation’s events
  • Support the establishing and nurturing of partnerships with other agencies and stakeholders


Key Responsibility Areas

  • Copywrite and design content for all communications and marketing collaterals
  • Design creative materials for social media channels and print
  • Maintain and update the organisation’s website to ensure relevance of content and maximise search engine optimization (SEO) output, thus increasing our ranking in search engine results
  • Manage the organisation’s social media platforms, including leading the publication process for sponsored posts to increase audience reach
  • Work closely with the counselling team to learn information, trends, and client needs to better communicate organisation’s services to various stakeholders
  • Serve as the main point of contact with the media for coordinating interviews with the organisation, including determining angle and purpose of interview and articles, compiling interview questions, and fact-checking of media reports and soundbites
  • Monitor news channels for reports relevant to organisation’s spheres of work
  • Lead the production of videos showcasing organisation’s work and client stories, including curating content conducting interviews with clients to capture their stories, and working with external media agencies to manage timelines and achieve production objectives
  • Support the management and counselling team at off-site and partner events
  • Coordinating meetings with stakeholders and prepare presentation materials for the purpose of building partnerships
  • Any other duties as assigned.


Candidate Requirements (Must-Haves)

  • Good interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Strong English writing ability
  • Good grasp of Google and Microsoft Workspace applications
  • At least 2 years’ working experience


Preferred achievements / characteristics (Good-to-haves):

  • Degree in Communications or related discipline
  • Willing to learn
  • Team player
