Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Catering Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in catering, a passion for food, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Catering Sous Chef, you will work closely with our Executive Chef to plan and execute menus, supervise kitchen staff, and ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and development, ensuring a diverse and high-quality selection of dishes.
  • Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all catering dishes.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed, maintaining cost control and minimizing waste.
  • Coordinate with the event planning team to ensure seamless execution of catered events.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into the menu.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a catering or high-volume culinary environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Creativity and a passion for culinary arts.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
