Responsibilities
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
- Evaluate vulnerabilities in IT infrastructure (networks, servers, databases, Cloud etc.).
- Identify potential system failures and assess their impact.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation plans.
- Resilience Planning and Strategy:
- Collaborate with IT teams to create a comprehensive resilience strategy.
- Define recovery objectives, response protocols, and business continuity plans.
- Ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
- Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BC):
- Design and maintain DR and BC plans for critical IT systems.
- Conduct regular drills and simulations to validate readiness.
- Coordinate recovery efforts during incidents.
- Incident Response and Communication:
- Lead incident response efforts during disruptions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including management and end-users.
- Provide timely updates and transparent communication.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting:
- Establish KPIs to measure infrastructure resilience.
- Regularly report on performance, incidents, and improvements.
- Use data-driven insights to enhance resilience strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (master’s preferred).
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure management,cybersecurity, or disaster recovery.
- Familiarity with industry standards
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to balance technical and business considerations.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.
- Should be good at creating Runbooks.
