Job Descriptions:
- Understand the Accounting Standards in both Singapore and Japan.
- Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial data in accordance with Singapore Accounting Standards.
- Prepare and review quarterly financial data for consolidation with the headquarters in Japan’s reports, adhering to Japanese Accounting Standards.
- Develop and review company Business Process Flowcharts and Business Process Descriptions required for the audited consolidated financial report under internal control, in compliance with J-SOX (Japanese Sarbanes-Oxley Act).
- Check and support the preparation of Applications for Submission of Quotation.
- Serve as the liaison for the headquarters in Japan, with a preference for proficiency in written Japanese communication.
- Maintain regular communication and reporting to the headquarters in Japan and liaise with Japanese-speaking counterparts, requiring strong Japanese language skills.
Job Requirements:
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese required to liaise with Japanese clients and the headquarters in Japan.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or audit.
- Proficiency in Japanese language (written and spoken) and documentation.
- Meticulous, team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
- Experience with full set accounts is preferred.
