What You Will Be Working On
As a member of our Internal Audit department, you will support auditing processes by leveraging advanced data analytics tools and techniques. You will be responsible performing data analytics tests to support business audits, ensuring compliance, and identifying operational efficiencies.
In This Role, You Will
- Utilise computer-assisted audit tools or programming languages to conduct thorough audits and data analysis.
- Collaborate with auditors, business stakeholders, and IT teams to gain insights into processes and systems, and design data analytics tests aligned with audit objectives.
- Execute continuous auditing assignments using data analytics methodologies to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform comprehensive data analytics tests to detect anomalies, trends, and potential risks.
- Prepare detailed audit findings, reports, and presentations for management review.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned to support the audit function.
What We Are Looking For
We value the diverse talents and experiences that each individual brings to the table. While mastery of every requirement may not be necessary, familiarity and expertise in some of the following areas will position you for success within this team.
- Relevant experience in data analytics, preferably within an audit function, with a focus on data-driven audit techniques
- Proficiency in scripting using computer-assisted audit tools such as ACL, as well as programming languages like Python, R, or similar.
- Ability to apply data analytics methodologies to enhance audit processes, ensuring thoroughness and efficiency.
- Ability to interpret and derive insights from complex datasets relevant to audit objectives.
- Ability to work independently while also demonstrating strong teamwork skills. Resourceful with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Position is on a 2-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board.
