Job Summary:
As a General Worker cum assistant, you ensure an outstanding customer experience in our store. Your primary responsibilities include helping customers with their purchases, keeping the store tidy, and supporting daily operations. You will collaborate with other team members to ensure the store runs smoothly and that customers enjoy a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist staff in packaging orders
- Replenish goods or inventory on shelves
- Provide excellent customer service
- Learn and operate the POS cash register
- Conduct regular inspections of displays to ensure they are clear, attractive, and in good condition
- Package and ship merchandise as needed, ensuring proper handling and storage
- Support other merchandising and operational tasks as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications:
- Secondary school or equivalent.
- Previous retail experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in a florist shop is a bonus.
- Good artistic hand and creativity in arts or handicrafts is an additional bonus
Work Schedule:
- 5 1/2 days per week
- Reporting time: 8:30am: Monday to Friday. Saturday: 8:30 - 1:00pm
- Work start time: Monday to Saturday 8:45 - 8:50am
- End time: 5:45 - 6:00pm
