Customer Service Associate - Retail Apparel Chain.

We are looking for a Customer Service Associate for a Retail Apparel Chain.


Job Summary:

The Customer Service Associate is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, assisting with sales, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for every customer. This role involves engaging with customers, addressing their needs and inquiries, and maintaining the store’s appearance and operations.


Key Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction:

Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, courteous assistance throughout their shopping experience.

Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and handle complaints in a professional and efficient manner.

Assist customers with product selection, provide product knowledge, and suggest alternatives or add-ons to enhance their purchase.


Sales and Support:

Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.

Assist with fitting room operations, including helping customers with fitting room requests and ensuring merchandise is returned to the sales floor.

Promote and up-sell store promotions, loyalty programs, and new product lines.


Store Maintenance:

Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, including shelves, displays, and fitting rooms.

Ensure merchandise is properly stocked, tagged, and displayed according to store standards.

Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments, checking stock levels, and performing stock counts.


Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve store sales goals and provide seamless customer service.

Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and store events to enhance knowledge and skills.


Compliance and Procedures:

Adhere to company policies and procedures, including cash handling, loss prevention, and health and safety standards.

Follow all store protocols for handling customer information and sensitive data.


Qualifications:

Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Basic math skills and proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

A genuine interest in fashion and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
