Job Summary:
The Shop Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, managing a team of sales associates, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role involves strategic planning, operational management, and driving sales performance to achieve store goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and develop store staff to ensure a knowledgeable and efficient team.
- Create staff schedules, ensuring optimal coverage and managing shift changes as needed.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members to enhance performance and morale.
- Customer Service:
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Implement customer service initiatives to improve satisfaction and build brand loyalty.
- Maintain a strong presence on the sales floor to support and engage with customers.
- Sales and Performance:
- Drive sales performance by setting and achieving sales targets and KPIs.
- Analyze sales reports and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Develop and execute promotional activities and in-store events to attract and retain customers.
- Store Operations:
- Ensure the store is consistently well-organized, clean, and visually appealing in alignment with company standards.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and oversee stock replenishment and merchandising.
- Monitor and manage store expenses, including cash handling and financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
- Financial Management:
- Prepare and oversee the store’s budget, including managing expenses and maximizing profitability.
- Analyze financial performance and develop strategies to enhance store profitability.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with all store protocols and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Shop Manager or in a similar retail management role, preferably in apparel or footwear.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in retail management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Education:
