- Teaching French and English subjects of the Primary Programme (from Yr 1 to Yr 5).
- Basic level for French as second language syllabus.
- Willing to be given lower primary grade level.
- Will sit as an Advisory Teacher and Subject Teacher (French & English).
- Taking daily attendance, maintaining leaves records, and generate monthly attendance report to check and verify.
- Dynamic and able to teach with expertise in Cambridge/IB curriculum (competency in English and basic French modules)
- Knowledge to teach French as second language in Cambridge Curriculum is a must.
- Conduct daily class attendance.
- Taking responsibility for the progress of a class of primary-age students.
- Organising the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment.
- Planning, preparing, and presenting differentiated lessons that cater the needs of the whole ability range within their class.
- Motivating students with enthusiastic, imaginative class activities.
- Preparing, marking, and providing feedback to facilitate positive student development.
- Meeting requirements for the assessment. Records, evaluates, and reports student’s development.
- Providing feedback to parents on students progress.
Working collaboratively with others to plan and coordinate work.
Organising and taking part for school events, outings, and activities. - Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties as and when required.
- Possess a minimum educational certificate in Bachelor’s Degree in Education/Teaching or equivalent disciplines
- Earned Certificate with Alliance Francaise qualified to teach French as second language - DELF A1 TO B1;
- Certificate in Tesol is also an added advantage
- At least 3 year(s) of relevant teaching experience in schools.
- With Pedagogical Certification Qualifications ie., CICTL is preferred.
- Exposure in other international curriculum such as Cambridge/IB PYP MYP DIP/IGCSE/CBSE/ICSE would be an added advantage.
- Who can teach and conversant with French as a module is a must for students taking the second language - French.
Teacher Welfare:
- Works only 5 days a week from 9AM to 3:30PM. Wed - 5:30PM
