Job Description
- Overall management of Accounts group activities
- Collaborate closely with relevant branch stakeholders i.e. Treasury, Risk Management, and Operations groups to ensure accurate accounting
- Collaborate with Tokyo Head Office (TKO HO) to enhance internal framework and infrastructure, including Accounting system
- Reporting precisely under MAS regulations and IRAS tax rules
- Prepare financial report in English in accordance with Singapore reporting standard and in accordance with Japan Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in Japanese for TKO HO
- Discuss with external auditor and facilitate overall branch to obtain unqualified audit opinion from external auditor
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above in any discipline
- At least 15 years of working experience in banking sector and/or strong knowledge on banking products and operations
- Preferably with past experiences at a bank in internal control management areas, including Accounts
- Experience in leading a team with good leadership and organizational skills
- Proficiency in verbal and written skills in both English and Japanese to work closely with Japanese stakeholders in the related Unit or Division in Japan Head Office
- Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner with both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills with cultural sensitivity and good teamwork ethic
