Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrator to manage and oversee the Basel Conversation on transboundary movement of electronic waste, focusing on applications, tracking, and coordination with global clients. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain smooth communication will all stakeholders.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the Basel transboundary movement applications, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure compliance with the Basel Convention and prepare reports to NEA.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all transboundary movement activities and ensure proper documentation is filed.
  • Follow up on application statuses and address any issues or queries raised by NEA.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients in overseas sites, addressing inquiries and providing updates on shipment statuses.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between SK tes and clients to ensure smooth operations.
  • Stay informed on changes to Basel Convention regulations and local laws affecting transboundary movements.
  • Ensure that all practices and procedures are updated in line with new regulatory requirements.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining the department’s filing system.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE "O" level or equivalent.
  • Good report writing skills and familiar with Microsoft office.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar administrative or coordination role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willlingness to learn.
