Business Analyst

Mission Description

1. Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into detailed specifications.
2. Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams. management. (Claims, finance)
3. Liaise with various departments including underwriting, customer service, and IT to ensure alignment of business goals.
4. Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams.
5. Identify opportunities for process optimization within the claims department.
6. Recommend and implement changes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
7. Analyze claims data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
8. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights to management.
9. Lead and coordinate projects related to claims processing enhancements.
10. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
11. Ensure that claims processes comply with regulatory requirements.
12. Identify and mitigate risks associated with claims processing.

Profile Requirement

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Professional certifications in business analysis or insurance (e.g., CBAP, CPCU) are a plus.
3. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, BI tools).
4. Experience with claims management systems and insurance software.
5. Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman and database management tools like MySQL and DataGrip.
6. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance domain, specifically in the claims department.
7. Proven track record of leading and managing projects in a claims processing environment.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
11. Leadership and team coordination abilities.
12. Proficiency in requirement analysis and test planning.
13. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
14. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
15. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
