Job Description:
- To ensure that yard operations run smoothly at all times. This includes but not limited to management of traffic in the yard; ensuring good functionality of machine/equipment and reporting any irregular findings to management; and making sure all vehicles are in proper working order
- To manage yard workers and make decisions on issues relating to workers’ duties, attendance and performance
- Directly oversee daily activities in the yard. Required to plan and assign duties to workers, and ensure the tasks assigned to the team are completed on a daily basis
- Provide on the job training for workers and ensure workers conform to SOP and safety regulations set out by the company
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the company
Requirements:
- Min 2 years of experience in supervisory role
- Must possess own transport
- Added advantage if candidate possess relevant trade certificates eg Forklift/ Excavator
