GMA Contract Manager

Leading Turoprop manufacturing having opening in the Customer Support center in Singapore.

The candidate will report directly to the Head of GMA & Repairs Services within the organization.


  • Will be responsible for the administration of aircraft maintenance contracts with ATR APAC customers including monitoring and following up of activities and ensuring contract terms compliance.
  • Will also be the focal point for customer queries and coordinate activities relating to the contract between departments within the organization.
  • Provide necessary support on all pre- and post-contractual agreement phases, and to ensure the daily administration and management of the contract;
  • Manage and find solutions to any customer complain or claim deriving from the maintenance contract scope
  • Organize the Initial Contract presentation, Periodic Contract review, and price Adjustments;
  • Set up, follow up, monitor and have the contractual rights and obligations duly respected by the parties, in the aim of fulfilling the requirements of the contract, ensure a good level of service for the customer, and profitability for ATR;
  • Manage contractual exclusions, promptly inform customers with technical elements and liaise with any company organization (tech support, commercial…) to defend ATR position.

Contract activation

  • Contract analysis and production of a contract summary;
  • Understand of contractual exclusions and communicate to customers with strong technical elements at support;
  • Creation of analytical structure for financial and computing management (SAP);
  • Creation of computing document for invoicing management (SAP);
  • Management of precedent conditions prior to contract activation (Security deposit, insurance certificate, any other document that may be requested by the contract…);
  • Creation of various files necessary for the management, follow up and monitoring of the activity;
  • « GO AHEAD » information giving message, for activation of the contract and launching of relevant actions;
  • Notification to customer to officiate the activation of the contract (offical letter on AES letterhead);
  • Starting mission at Customer’s facility to present the functioning rules and administrative process.

Day to day management

  • Monthly & additional invoicing, adjustment, reconciliation and exclusions invoicing;
  • Quotation and invoicing for Main elements exclusions and rentals under over quota;
  • Focal point for any question regarding Contract and management of customer responsibility (core units return follow up, loss invoicing, Pool list update, etc…);
  • Monitoring and follow up of corrective actions or improvement process to ensure the satisfaction of both parties;
  • Understanding of contractual exclusion background, and managing communication to customers with strong technical elements at support
  • Periodic review of global contract activities;
  • Notification to customer in case of default towards its contractual obligations (letter to be validated by LA and signed by Head of spares & logistics), contractual lead time follow-up and monitoring (may lead to contract termination).

Contractual activity follow up and monitoring

  • Fleet monthly Flight hours & cycles, main elements and airframe maintenance planning follow up;
  • LRU’s removals rate, NFF, standard exchange orders, core units return lead time follow up;
  • Main elements and airframe maintenance events follow up (engines, landing gears, propellers, AMC).

Requirements:

  • Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent;
  • Proven experience in contract administration
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the Aerospace Industry, in close contact with airlines;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office and SAP
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of Bahasa will be an added advantage;
  • Precise and rigorous;
  • Good team player and be able to maintain good relationships with customers and colleagues;
  • Dynamic, autonomous, proactive and team spirit;
  • Ability to work under pressure with high demanding customers;
  • Problem solving skills.
