We’re searching for an Accountant to be part of our Finance diverse team of talent. You will be responsible for managing fixed assets, product costing and inventory accounting to ensure that information provided to management is complete, accurate and timely.
What you will be working on:
- Ensure timely and accurate CAPEX control and report on budget, spending and disposals
- Ensure assets registration and depreciation calculation in line with accounting principles
- Simulate budgeted depreciation for fixed Assets and ensure that the actual are in line with the budgeted numbers
- Prepare quarterly/annual plan and work with IE(Industrial Engineering Department) to update and maintain standard cost key factors in SAP
- Inventory Accounting & organize annual inventory count
- Analyze aging stocks and liaise with the respective parties for resolution
- Reconcile stocks in MES (shop-floor system) and SAP (enterprise system) and resolve issue arising
- Perform and ensure compliance to SOX (Fixed asset and Inventory)
- Implement, wherever effective, automation of standard operating procedure with the view to simplifying work and reduction of operating costs
- Check and update Tableau report
- Supporting SAP HANA implementation
- Supporting quarterly RFF (Rolling Financial Forecasting) on Depreciation/CAPEX/Inventory forecast, and prepare send out excel file.
More About You:
- Bachelor in Accountancy or professional accounting qualification
- Min 1 to 3 years' experience in manufacturing environment
- Experience in product costing; inventory accounting and fixed asset accounting is essential
- Knowledge of internal control functions and logistics workflow is an added advantage
- Excellent Excel skill, VBA is bonus point
- Possess an eye for detail, a good analytical mind
