Solutions Manager - Digital (Insurance/Consumer Banking/E-commerce)

We are looking for a Solution Manager - Digital on a 12-month contract basis. This is a long-term project hence this role is an extendable or convertible to a permanent position based on the individual's performance.


Role Overview:

  • The Solutions Manager role is about bringing Focus on end-to-end solution definition and managing the implementation across teams while supporting the business owners in the partnership.
  • This role would work closely with the business owners, technology teams and other cross functional teams in the regional and country offices to help launch the digital platforms for a partnership.
  • You will be required to identify & analyze the process pain points, gaps, core problems, and translate these to tangible solutions & requirements. You should be able to clearly articulate, document & communicate the end-to-end requirements to different stakeholders and drive implementation of the proposed solution & process for the partner.


Main Responsibilities:

Partnership Solution management:

1. Design end-to-end solutions that accelerate the partner launches and form consistent go-to-market framework in consultation with the business owner, Country Digital & Operation teams

2. Design and own the processes that can be replicated quickly with new partners and markets.

3. Enable the solutions by working with cross-functional stakeholders

4. Provide business and technical solutions for new use-cases penetrating target partner/markets, in the collaboration with regional, product and commercial teams.

5. Work closely with Country operations and digital teams in understand the country capabilities and defining end to end digital capabilities for partners.

6. Be part of the sales process and work with the team in presenting capabilities and solution requirements to partner teams.

7. Prepare the playbook for solution development that can be leveraged for adoption across Squads

8. Work in close collaboration with the technical Project Managers to align on digital build & implementation timelines of the partner integration.

9. The Solution Manager to manage the different partner stakeholders as part of the partnership launch


Execution Goals

10. Act as the point person for the delivery project(s) for which you are responsible

11. Oversee and actively guide the delivery such that delivery is de-risked and expedited for the engagement

12. Actively engage with various stakeholders (business & IT) to effectively deliver prioritized project outcomes

13. Proactively provide guidance on all delivery related activities

14. Deliver Projects/Programs per plan, scope and budget

15. Ensure High quality deliverables form a part of delivery, from documentation & plans through to system capability & performance

16. Actively engage & consult internal & external teams to ensure good outcomes for projects in a timely fashion



Knowledge & Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification (Essential)
  • 9 + experience in digital implementation with experience as a program lead or Implementation manager working in Agile environment (Essential)
  • Highly experienced professional, having worked across many areas of the SDLC (analysis, project management, dev, test) (10+ years)
  • Experienced with the application of Agile Techniques (2 to 4+ years)
  • Good understanding of end-to-end insurance process across the policy lifecycle (new business, renewals, billing, cancelation
  • Good understanding of product/platform lifecycle management for web/mobile technology with a keen interest in customer experience, user journeys, customer acquisition
  • Prior experience in documenting process details (Essential)
  • Prior experience on Product/platform lifecycle management (Desirable)
  • Prior experience in using data and customer touchpoints to deliver process improvements (Desirable)
  • Knowledge on e-commerce, customer lifecycle, digital sales, customer servicing, insurance products (Desirable)
  • Working knowledge of tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Projects, MS Office Suite
  • Experience of working with wide range of internal and external stakeholder audiences across globally distributed and cross functional teams
  • Experienced leading Digital Tech project teams in and across a region for an International organisation
  • Remote working experience, with both IT and business teams
  • Vendor Management experience (desired - working with remote vendor teams)

  • High sense of ownership, urgency, drive and diligence. Proven track record of getting things done, managing multiple tasks/priorities including communication with internal and external teams while consistently delivering on schedule
