Job Description
Member Relations and Engagement
- Build, track, and manage members’ database for the department’s interest-/segment-based communities, focusing on volunteers and beneficiaries.
- Liaise with members and identify needs and opportunities for engagement.
- Identify, engage, and feature brand advocates/ambassadors, manage good relationships with them as faces and voices of the community.
Programming and Product Development
- Assist in design and curation of a menu of programmes and offerings for the interest- and segment-based social and recreation (S&R) needs of Unions and employers, focusing on CSR, based on survey and research.
- Execute and assist in the delivery of events from idea conception to implementation: survey and research, project coordination, drafting programmes, producing content, managing vendor relationships and stakeholder communications, managing budgets etc.
- Nurture leads for conversion to engagement and sales to fulfill interest- and segment-based S&R needs for Unions and employers, focusing on CSR.
- Engage in marketing initiatives necessary to drive the department’s brands/product awareness, community onboarding and participation towards engagement activities.
- Assist in management of community social media presence which includes the creation of creative content for our channel(s)
- Identify opportunities for collaborations with other interest- and segment-based communities.
Requirements:
- Recognised University Degree/Diploma in Business, Marketing or equivalent
- At least 3 years relevant working experience
- Possess event management, community engagement, partnership relationship management, social media, content marketing and copywriting qualifications and experiences, or where relevant and equivalent
- Proven ability to plan and put ideas into action
- Experience with digital publishing and generating traffic and leads for new business
