The role is looking for a driven sales professional for the Account Manager position who will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with customers. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that sales in the assigned territory reach or exceed the forecast level.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supported by a Business Manager and application specialists, you are responsible for driving the new sales and marketing of instruments, labware and consumables supplies, and reagent-based systems in Singapore, including:
· Active daily customer visits to expand product portfolio offering for growth.
· Contributing as a key team member on the new product evaluation team
· Developing and driving the marketing and sales growth plan for your customers.
· Coordinating with field service and application specialists to ensure customer satisfaction and facilitate good communication between customers, Sales, Application and operations.
· Keeping up to date with product knowledge, policies, and processes to provide accurate and relevant information to customers.
· Utilise quotation tools and knowledge about the customer, to leverage on insights leading to an increase in sales pipelines to meet sales target.
· Prepare sales quotations and ensure the company's Sales quotation system is updated for recurring and standard orders.
· Manage daily orders and contracts for industry customers, including those on Ariba/e-commerce platforms, and coordinate local and regional deliveries to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
· Utilize "Salesforce" (CRM software) effectively to meticulously record selling activities, ensure an updated customer database, and provide sales performance reports to management during weekly meetings.
· Enhance product knowledge to effectively upsell and cross-sell, crafting personalized recommendations by leveraging customer data and insights in Salesforce, with support from product/sales managers.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Degree in Science or related qualifications
· Work experience in a SME trading or distributor environment
· 3 years of healthcare sales experience preferred.
· An organized, meticulous, and disciplined person with a good eye for details
· Able to work in teams as well as independently.
· Must be able to work in fast-paced environment.
· Good proficiency in written and spoken English.
· Proficient in MS Office – word, excel
· Knowledge of Trade Facilities like Letter of Credit is advantageous.
