Purpose and Scope
Sembcorp Environment (SembEnviro) is seeking a Consultant level professional to join our Clean Stream and Waste Advisory team of circularity consultants, technology specialists and waste-related subject matter experts. This multi-faceted role combines creative design, strategic brand marketing and community engagement to enhance our brand’s visibility and foster strong relationships with audiences across multiple industry sectors in Singapore and around the region.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have a knack for design, a strategic mindset in brand marketing, and a passion for building and nurturing communities.
Design:
- Develop and execute creative design solutions across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.
- Create visual content such as graphics, infographics, photos/videos, and promotional materials that align with the brand’s identity.
- Collaborate with the Group’s Brand, People and Community team to ensure consistent brand aesthetics and messaging.
Brand Marketing:
- Design and implement brand marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and loyalty.
- Develop and manage content strategies for social media, email marketing, and other digital platforms.
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to inform brand positioning and campaign effectiveness.
Community Engagement:
- Build and manage the company’s initiatives to drive recycling awareness with online and offline communities through proactive engagement and support.
- Organize community events and other initiatives to foster engagement and growth.
- Be responsible for all aspects of assigned engagements, including directing the development of processes and techniques that improve the performance of design, marketing, and community initiatives using metrics and data.
- Provide regular reports and insights to guide strategic decisions and improve overall effectiveness to grow the circularity business and client base for the Group.
- Coordinate with external partners, agencies, and vendors as needed.
Qualification, Skills and Experience
- 5-7+ years of experience in design, brand marketing, and community management, with a strong portfolio of relevant work..
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) and marketing tools (Google Analytics, social media management platforms).
- Strong understanding of branding principles, digital marketing, and community engagement strategies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically while managing multiple priorities.
- Cognitive flexibility and intellectual curiosity.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, start-up like environment where deliverables and tasks may frequently change.
