Job Description:
As an Assistant Photographer, you will play a key role in supporting photographers during shoots. You will assist with setting up equipment, managing lighting, and ensuring that every shoot runs smoothly. This position offers a great opportunity for hands-on experience and to develop your skills alongside experienced photographers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Studio Operations: Oversee daily studio activities and ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Equipment Checks: Inspect and maintain lighting, cameras, grips, and digital equipment to prevent faults.
- Track Inventory: Keep an accurate inventory of all equipment.
- Setup and Teardown: Set up and teardown for each shoot.
- Photography Support: Set up lighting, camera, and digital tasks during photoshoots.
Requirements:
- Previous experience or formal education in photography is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of DSLR cameras and photography equipment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by shooting schedules.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
