- Perform routine cardiovascular tests: Electrocardiography, Ambulatory Holter/Blood Pressure. This includes download, analysis and interpretation of data.
- Perform Treadmill ECG and assist in Imaging Stress testing independently.
- Able to perform at least 1 out of the 3 complex Cardiovascular modality independently such as:
- Transthoracic Echocardiography including portables
- Invasive Cardiovascular Angiograms and Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty including doing on calls
- Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device checks, programming and implants
- Prepare reports of procedures performed, maintain adequate records and files reflecting patient information and operational data such as expenditures etc.
- Maintain equipment to ensure accurate testing and diagnosis. Trouble shoot errors when variances occur. Maintain a record of all repairs and routine maintenance of the equipment in the Centre.
- Maintain the emergency trolley (crash cart) in the Centre.
Requirements
- Possess at least a Science degree/Polytechnic Diploma in Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent
- Min 3 years of relevant working experience
